Our continuous cast bronze bars give superior quality and performance.
Continuous casting results in a high density grain structure, free
of porosity, resulting in a reduction of tool wear and component
rejects.
Cored and solid bars are stocked in 13" and 105" lengths
and are available in other lengths. When you need a moderate quantity
of special bearings, we can provide an economical alternative to
expensive tooling. Consider bars for use when you need special bearings,
bearing prototypes, or for emergency repairs. We also supply flat
stock for wear plates (rectangular bar stock).
Common alloys are available from stock, such as, C95400, C95500,
C95900, C86300 and C93600. Most all other copper alloys can be produced
on demand. Centrifugal cast large diameter cored bars are also available
as standard stock items in 13" lengths. Special lengths can
be produced to order.
